Mukuba University is an independent public university located in Kitwe, Zambia, dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement.

The University traces its roots to St. Francis Secondary School, established in 1958. It later became the Copperbelt Secondary Teachers’ College (COSETCO) in 1974, earning a strong reputation for training secondary school teachers in science and related disciplines. In 2013, the institution was transformed into Mukuba University to expand access to quality higher education.

Today, Mukuba University offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across diverse fields, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to contribute to national and global development.
